Cancellation Policy

  • If the booking is cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival, Falls Creek Hotel will refund the deposit held less a cancellation fee of 5% of the total booking amount.
  • If the booking is cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival, Falls Creek Hotel will retain the full deposit. 
  • If Falls Creek Hotel can re-sell the booking money held will be refunded less a cancellation fee of 5% of the total booking amount. 
  • All cancellations must be provided in writing to enquiries@fallscreekhotel.com.au.

COVID-19 Cancellation Policy

  • If Falls Creek is inaccessible to you due to COVID-19 restrictions, you will receive a refund less 5% of the total booking or a full booking credit to use for the current or next year. Excess credit not used within 1 year or excess credit due to a lower value stay will not be refunded.
  • If you have commenced your stay and you have to leave Falls Creek Hotel due to government COVID-19 time constraint restrictions (such as having to cross a state border by a certain time, but not having to travel home within Victoria) you will receive a refund of the nights you could not stay less 5% of the total rate for those nights.
  • If payment is made and government COVID-19 restrictions come into place for the time of your stay (including having to quarantine when you go home) you can either receive a refund less 5% of the total booking or a full booking credit to use for the current or next year. Excess credit not used within 1 year or excess credit due to a lower value stay will not be refunded.  Cancellation requests under this policy must relate to COVID-19 and you must provide driver’s license with residential address and a reference document with the government public authority direction confirming your claim and cancellation request.
  • All cancellations must be provided in writing to enquiries@fallscreekhotel.com.au.

Bookings

  • A 50% deposit of the total booking rate must be made within 7 days of the date made to confirm the booking. Balance of the account and any extra sundry charges are due on departure.
  • A booking confirmation email must be obtained. If a booking confirmation email is not obtained, the booking is not confirmed.
  • It is the responsibility of guests to review the booking confirmation email and promptly advise Falls Creek Hotel if there are any errors or misunderstandings.
  • By providing credit card details, guests warrant they have the authority to use the credit card and they authorise Falls Creek Hotel to charge the cost of their booking(s) to that credit card.
  • Non-payment within these terms may forfeit your booking.

Child Policy

  • Children aged 4 years and under stay free of charge when sharing with 2 adults.
  • Children aged 5 to 17 years will be charged 50% the adult rate when sharing with 2 adults.
  • Children in their own room will be charged at the adult rate.
  • Single share rooms will be charged and extra supplement of 50% on top of the single adult rate.

On-the-day Standby Rates:

  • A 25% discount can be applied to the booking if made after 9am on the day of arrival
  • A 50% discount can be applied to the booking if made after 6pm on the day of arrival

Loyal Guest Discount

  • Return guests that are in the Falls Creek Hotel database may receive a 10% loyal guest discount on the Dinner, Bed and Breakfast rate.
  • To receive this discount the booking must be made directly with Falls Creek Hotel and will be applied at the discretion of management.

Check In & Check Out Times

  • Check-in 2pm
  • Check-out 10am
  • Luggage storage is available for early arrivals & late departures.

Insurance

  • We strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance to cover the loss of monies paid in the event of having to cancel your reservation.
